Support plans

The install is the easy part. Keeping it working is the job.

Monthly monitoring and support for business networks and CCTV across Cornwall. Fixed price, named engineer, and a plan you can cancel if it stops earning its keep.

Plans

Three levels. Prices published.

Watch — £45 per site, per month

Remote monitoring on the network and cameras, with an alert when something drops rather than a phone call from you a week later. Includes a monthly summary of what happened.

Maintain — £95 per site, per month

Everything in Watch, plus firmware and controller updates applied properly, a quarterly health report, and up to two remote fixes a month included rather than billed.

Managed — £185 per site, per month

Everything in Maintain, plus a next-working-day on-site response commitment, an annual design review, and configuration backups held off-site so a failed device is a swap rather than a rebuild.

What is included, and what is not.

Scope clarity matters more than the price. Every plan states what is covered so nobody is arguing about it during an outage.

  • Monitoring of switches, access points, recorders and cameras
  • Firmware and controller updates, tested rather than auto-applied
  • Configuration backups held off-site
  • A named engineer who has seen your site
  • Reduced on-site rate for plan holders, quoted before work starts

Not included: replacement hardware, new installation work, third-party broadband faults, and anything outside the equipment listed at sign-up. Those are quoted separately, as usual.

Who this is for

Sites where a network failure costs money the same day: care homes running digital care records and nurse call, activity venues taking bookings and card payments, practices where the diary is the business. If losing the network for a morning is merely annoying, a plan is probably not worth paying for, and that is a fine answer.

Why monthly rather than call-out

Call-out work rewards the wrong things. Under a plan the incentive is a site that does not break, because a quiet month is a profitable month for both sides. It also means somebody is looking at the system between failures rather than only after one.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is there a minimum term?

No lock-in beyond a rolling month. If a plan is not earning its place, it stops.

What counts as one site?

One physical premises with one network. A second building on the same site with its own link counts separately - it is quoted, not guessed at.

What if something breaks outside the plan?

Plan holders get a lower on-site rate than ad-hoc work, quoted before anything starts. Nothing gets done on a running meter without agreement.

Not sure which plan fits?

Send the site and roughly what is on the network. You get a straight recommendation, including if the answer is that no plan is worth paying for yet.
