Separation first, coverage second.
Most sites of this kind grew one device at a time. Nurse call went on the same flat network as the visitor Wi-Fi, the card terminal shares a subnet with the cameras, and nobody has been able to say which device is which since the last upgrade.
Design starts from what must never share a network. Clinical systems, medication records and staff devices are separated from visitor traffic. Card payments are segregated from everything else. Cameras sit on their own segment with recording retention set deliberately rather than by whatever the recorder shipped with.
- Visitor Wi-Fi separated from clinical and staff systems
- Multi-building and multi-floor coverage
- Card payment traffic segregated for PCI DSS
- Coverage into grounds, outbuildings and activity areas
- Care home nurse call and staff device network support
- Phased work that fits around your season
